Why is Rahul Gandhi going against his ancestors?
Leader of the Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is vigorously and continuously raising the issue of reservation and census. He wants to break the 50% sealing of reservation, fixed by the SC and caste based census. Some Congress leaders are against this and they put forward views of JawaharLal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi, who vehemently opposed the demand. Anand Sharma reminds Mrs Gandhi’s comment- “Naa jati pe, Na pat pe, Vote padega haath pe”. They are surprised, why Rahul is raising these contentious issues again and again, which is against the party basics? They were also surprised, why Mallikarjuna Kharge, who is an old guard, is supporting this demand?
