Maharashtra Skill University has been instrumental in developing innovative skills among students, leading to increased employment opportunities. This success was highlighted by Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha at the “Guru Vandana” event organized by the Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Department at the World Trade Center on Teacher’s Day.
Minister Lodha emphasized the importance of skilled manpower in today’s job market, especially in the private sector, and encouraged students to consider opportunities for startups. He also praised Vice-Chancellor Dr. Apoorva Palkar, acknowledging her contributions mentioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a recent event in Jalgaon.

Various institutions, including the Skill University’s partner organizations, were honored at the event for their contributions. In addition, students receiving fellowships and standout educators were recognized. Fifteen startups were awarded scholarships of ₹3 lakhs each under the Amrut Entrepreneurship Development Scheme.
