The Global Excellence Scholarship is a new initiative from the University of Western Australia (UWA) that aims to recognise and draw exceptional international students from all over the world. Scholarships may be available for students who intend to start studies on Semester 1, 2025.
For undergraduate programs, depending on the length of study and academic performance, students can get up to AUD$48,000 over four years or up to AUD$36,000 over three years.
Benefit from up to AUD$24,000 over two years of study with postgraduate programs.
Scholarship Details:
According to their offer letter, recipients of the Global Excellence Scholarship are eligible for an annual tuition fee reduction for the full-time length of their degree. Greater academic achievement may result in the awarding of higher scholarships. Candidates for combined bachelor’s and combined bachelor’s and master’s degrees are also eligible, and for some courses, including engineering and commerce combinations, they might receive up to AUD$60,000 over five years.
Eligibility Requirements:
A minimum ATAR of 85.00 for undergraduate candidates or a minimum WAM of 65.00 for postgraduate applicants is required to be eligible for the award.
Available to students from all nations who have been offered a spot at UWA for Semester 1, 2025, to pursue an appropriate undergraduate or graduate degree.
Undergraduate candidates must be enrolled in an Assured Pathway course or an approved bachelor’s degree (with the exception of medicine and dentistry).
With the exception of physicians, dentists, optometrists, and juris doctors, postgraduate candidates must be pursuing an approved coursework degree.
