Central Railway’s Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Railway Hospital, Byculla, Mumbai received 22 Stainless steel Benches for Patients & their relatives / attendants from Inner Wheel Club of Mumbai Nariman Point (IWCMNP) on November 12, 2024.
Hema Chitlangia (President of IWCMNP), Benefactors Sonali Suraj Saraogi, Sharada Saraogi, Reshma Tanna & Jagdish Tanna did the honours of donating these Stainless Steel Benches to the hospital.
The Inaugural function was attended by Mrs Shalini Agarwal, Secretary IWCMNP, and Board Members, Mrs Shivani Kajaria, Mrs Kanta Parakh, Mrs Rekha Kanakia and Mrs Kavita Sony.
Dr. Sushma Matey Medical Director, Dr. Meera Arora Chief Consultant, Dr. Kapil Sarde Sr. DMO, Dr. Mangesh Gajakosh Sr. DMO, Shri. Sureshkumar NT Hospital Administrator, Assistant Nursing Officers Harshada Kamble, Darshana Gadling & Varsha Gajabe, Health Inspector Abhishek Sharma and Nursing incharges of various departments were also present.
The function commenced with felicitation of all the office bearers of Inner Wheel by the Medical Director Dr. Sushma Matey, followed by ribbon cutting function. These benches are located on patient waiting areas of first and second floor of the Heritage Building.
This was followed by address by Dilip Maheshwari (President, International Vaish Foundation) & Medical Director Dr. Sushma Matey.
The programme was conducted and anchored by Seema Mukherjee, Chief Nursing Superintendent.
