Bengaluru Weather: City To Experience Partly Cloudy Skies; Chilly Weather Ahead

Bengaluru: The city is experiencing a change in its weather, offering chilly temperatures to the residents. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Bengaluru will witness partly cloudy skies on Friday, November 29.

The city woke up at 06:25 am and the sun is expected to set at 5:51. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range between 19 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius.

The average temperature is likely to range around 21 degrees Celsius. The humidity level is expected to range around 66 per cent. The wind is expected to blow steadily from the North at a speed of 19 km/h, and the Air Quality Index (AQI) is expected to stand at 82, which indicates moderate air quality in the city and its surrounding areas. The weather department has said that temperatures could dip to 12 degrees Celsius in the upcoming days.

The IMD has forecasted partly cloudy skies, which are likely to remain the same throughout the day. The dry air is likely to prevail in North Interior Karnataka. Meanwhile, widespread moderate thunderstorms and lightning is likely to occur in South Interior Karnataka.

Taking the IMD as a source, the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared the weather report on X and stated, “Scattered to moderate rain over southern interior districts of the state, scattered heavy rain is expected on November 30 & December 1.”

Weather forecast for upcoming days

The IMD issued an orange alert in the South Interior Karnataka for November 30 and December 1, 2024, as heavy to very heavy rainfall is predicted in the region with thunderstorms, lightning and squalls. A yellow alert has been issued in coastal areas and the North Interior Karnataka for December 3 and 4, 2024.
