Indore (Madhya Pradesh): “AI is okay, but to save Hindutva there is a greater need for HI, i.e., Intellectual Hindu,” said spiritual leader Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, also known as Bageshwar Dham Sarkar at the Hindu Yuva Sammelan, on Saturday. Speaking on the theme ‘Rag-Rag Hindu, Mera Parichay’, he urged Hindus to unite intellectually, socially, and economically to safeguard their identity and culture.
Shastri called on Hindu businessmen to prioritize working with fellow Hindus, attributing unemployment as a key reason for religious conversions. Drawing comparisons with countries like Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where local policies favour Sheikhs in business, he questioned why similar economic support for Hindus couldn’t exist in India. He emphasized the need for Hindus to embrace the HI mindset, advocating intellectual engagement alongside unity.
Hanumant Dhwaj group playing Puneri dhol, remains main attraction during the gathering
“Youth is fascinated with Artificial Intelligence, but we must shift focus to real life and intellectual strength,” Shastri said. Highlighting the oppression faced by Hindus in states like Bengal and Northeast, he warned against cultural erosion, urging collective action to prevent India from turning into Bangladesh. Shastri said that Hinduism transcends sectarian divides, representing a way of life for all Indians regardless of their current religion. He appealed for unity, saying, ‘Jaat Paat ki Karo Vidai, Ham Sab Hindu Bhai Bhai’.
He also urged Hindus to support their community economically and commercially, emphasizing the importance of empowerment. He also expressed gratitude for the love he received in Indore, calling it a unique blend of spirituality and industry.
The programme was scheduled at noon but Shastri reached the venue at 6 pm due to ill health. A large number of people gathered at the Lalbagh Ground to hear Shastri while Hanumant Dhwaj Path, a Puneri dhol team, was the major attraction during the programme.
Shastri says
* Need 1 crore hardcore Hindus: Out of 100 crore Hindus, I need 1 crore hardcore Hindus who can strengthen Hindutva and the culture.
