Bhopal DGP Orders Intensive Awareness Campaign On Cybercrime, Drugs, Traffic Safety

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): DGP Kailash Makwana asked field officials to immediately launch intensive awareness campaigns on cyber crime, illegal drug trade and traffic safety. The DGP conducted his first meeting through video conferencing here on Tuesday.

In the meeting, the DGP said that we have to move towards professional policing.

Accountability, responsiveness, discipline, uniform is mandatory to be maintained due to service. The DGP said that Simhastha-2028 is a mega event and there is need to bring more dynamism in its preparation.

Adequate arrangements have to be ensured in surrounding districts of Ujjain as well. A plan has to be made on time and sent to the government so that all arrangements can be perfect.

The DGP directed to ensure immediate and effective action on cybercrime, illegal drug trade and traffic safety. He said that it is our duty to prevent young generation from falling into the clutches of drugs.

Therefore, police officers should reach all schools and colleges and run an awareness campaign. He asked to strengthen the intelligence system and find out and destroy the entire network of illegal drug trade. The DGP asked police officials to ensure public hearing every Tuesday. He said that we have to establish our credibility among common people.
