Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A violent clash broke out between inmates at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Central Jail. Notorious gangster Hrithik Tamiya attacked fellow inmate Sanjay Sarang in a feud over gang supremacy. The incident took place on Wednesday in MP’s Jabalpur district.

After the altercation, the inmates were transferred into separate, individual, high-security cells. Police, along with jail administration, have taken cognisance of the case. Further investigations into the matter have commenced.

According to information, on Wednesday, a regular day at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Central Jail located in the Jabalpur district turned violent. Two inmates, namely Hrithik Tamiya and Sanjay Sarang, had an old enmity. When the two saw each other inside the jail, a scuffle erupted. Hrithik Tamiya assaulted Sanjay Sarang during a heated confrontation.

Fortunately, no casualty has been recorded due to the quick response of the jail administration. The two inmates have been transferred to separate barracks and are kept under strict supervision. Deputy Jailor Madan Kamlesh addressed the incident, assuring that the situation is now fully under control. He stated, “The prison administration is taking strict action, and both individuals have been relocated to avoid further conflicts.”

Sanjay Sarang is a repeat offender.

This is not the first time Sarang has faced such issues. Previously, he was transferred to a prison in Ujjain to mitigate gang-related tensions. However, his return to the Central Jail reignited old rivalries, leading to another altercation.
