Madhya Pradesh Girls’ Hockey Team Reaches Final

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): State girls’ hockey team secured a spot in the final of Sub-Junior Hockey National championship 2024. The tournament is being held in Secunderabad, Telangana from November 26 to December 6.

In the semi-finals MP defeated Mizoram 3-2. For the winning team, Naz Noshin scored in the 13th minute, Ruby Rathore in the 32nd minute and Tanvi in the 56th minute.

Mizoram’s Ruthy Lalavamzuali scored in the 3rd minute and captain Laltalan Changi netted a goal in the 52nd minute. MP then took the lead with Tanvi’s goal and made their way into the final. The final will take place on Friday where MP will face Jharkhand.

Women hockey players for Jr Asia Cup

State Women’s Hockey Academy players Jyoti Singh, Aditi Slama and Sonam have been selected in the Indian Junior Women’s Hockey Team for Junior Asia Cup 2024. The championship will be held in Muscat, Oman from December 7 to 15.

In addition, Neha Rawat, the coach of state women’s academy has been appointed as the assistant coach for Indian Junior Women’s Hockey team. Jyoti is selected as captain of the team.
