VIDEO: Man Chained To Pole, Brutally Thrashed By In-Laws With Sticks & Rods After Dispute In UP’s Shamli; Dumped In Bihar

Shamli: In a shocking incident, a man was brutally thrashed by his in-laws in Uttar Pradesh’s Shamli. The entire incident was caught on camera and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. It can be seen in the video that the man is chained to an electric pole and brutally beaten by the in-laws. There are reports that the victim went to his in-laws’ house to bring his wife back when the incident occurred. They took the man hostage, transported him to Bihar and abandoned him there after brutally thrashing him.

The victim’s family members got information about the whereabouts of the man, after which they reached Bihar and then brought him back to home. The victim filed a police complaint in connection with the matter and the police have initiated an investigation into the matter. The video of the man being chained to the pole and thrashed brutally has gone viral on social media.

There are reports that the incident occurred in the Banat town of the Adarsh Mandi area. The victim who has been identified as Shahzad mentioned in his complaint that his in-laws, who are the resident of Ghaziabad, took him hostage after a dispute occurred when he went to take his wife back home.

He mentioned in his complaint that his in-laws chained him after the dispute and then beat him with sticks and rods one-by-one over the dispute. They took him hostage in near-death state and left him in Bihar while he was severely injured.

He managed to inform his family after which they came to Bihar and took him home. There are no reports of any police action in connection with the matter, however, Shahzad has urged the police to take immediate and strict action against the accused.
