A video of two girls performing to a devotional song dedicated to Lord Ram on a stage in Bengaluru has gone viral on Instagram. It showed one singing the beat and the other grooving to it with all admiration and grace. The duo’s live music and dance performance was based on one of the popular Kannada Bhajans titled ‘Ramanembo Namava Nenedere’.
The younger girl who was filmed dancing to the Bhakti Geet won the hearts of the audience as well as the dignitaries seated on the stage. As people witnessed the performance on the song dedicated to Lord Ram, they adored the cuteness of the two girls and their artistic abilities.

2 girls perform Kannada Bhajan with grace
The girls were identified as ‘Athreya sisters’ (Dhruti and Dhanvi) who were part of the Vithalayya School of Music.
Taking a look at the video which is now going viral on the internet, it captures two girls gracefully tuning a popular Kannada Bhajan dedicated to Lord Rama. The video opened by showing the singer devotedly performing to the beautiful lyrics penned by the Indian philosopher, followed by drawing our attention to the little one’s charming dance moves.
Composed by Sri Purandara Dasaru, a follower of Madhvacharya and his philosophy, the song is part of several Bhajan sessions and temple festivals. The duo performed this song on the stage during the Vithalayya Utsava 2024 in Bengaluru. It was learned that the visuals surfaced from the city’s popular cultural space ‘Kalagrama’.
