Status of Scottie Barnes’ injury unclear:

According to media reports, it remains unclear for how long the 23-year-old will be sidelined. Nevertheless, the Raptors only have one game the next week as they face Miami Heat on Thursday in South Florida. Barnes had some excellent numbers heading into the game against the Knicks as he averaged 21 points, 8.7 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game.

The youngster also had an orbital fracture in October after copping a blow to his face from Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic. The game between the Raptors and Knicks was tight throughout, but the latter had a 5-0 run when 45 seconds were left and snatched victory.
