Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A video has gone viral on social media showing an SP (Superintendent of Police) performing CPR on an elderly man who was injured and lying on the road in Rajgarh on Monday.
Despite the SP’s best efforts to save him, the elderly man could not be revived and passed away.
The video has sparked a lot of attention online, highlighting the efforts made to help the man, although the outcome was tragic.
In the video, it was seen that Rajgarh SP Aditya Mishra thumped the chest of elderly man multiple times. In later part of the video, he gave mouth-to-mouth breathing and constantly, calling the old man with ‘Kaka utho.’

The deceased was identified as Hiralal Sitar (70), resident of Kishanpuria.
Reportedly, the elderly man was hit by a car and the accused driver fled from the spot.
Rajgarh SP Aditya Mishra was seen giving CPR to the man.
He was accompanied by Rajgrah district collector Girish Kumar Mishra during the operation. He also asked the nearby people to call an ambulance.
According to information, Rajgarh district collector Girish Kumar Mishra and SP Aditya Mishra were going from Biaora to Salangpur. While on their way, they saw an elderly person in an injured state on the road near Karanwas. They stopped the car immediately and rushed to the elderly man.

The SP then asked the passersby and they told the SP that Hiralal was hit by a car on the road and the accused driver fled.
Following this, SP Aditya Mishra gave CPR to the injured man. However, the elderly man didn’t gain consciousness. Later, the elderly man was taken to the hospital by the ambulance. The doctors at the hospital declared him dead on arrival.
The police are searching for the accused car driver who hit the elderly man.
