Mumbai: Kerala Man Fatally Run Over By BEST Bus After Being Hit By Unidentified Biker Near CSMT; VIDEO Surfaces

Mumbai: Another tragic accident occurred outside the Deputy Commissioner of Police Office (Zone 1) on Walchand Hirachand Marg, near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus involving a BEST bus on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Hussainar Andunhi (55). The MRA Marg Police Station has registered a case against an unidentified biker in connection with the matter.

The 55-year-old man lost his life near CSMT after being run over by a BEST bus. The incident occurred after an unidentified motorcyclist hit the pedestrian, causing him to fall under the rear wheel of the bus, according to officials. A case has been registered against the unknown biker, and police are actively searching for the culprit.

The accident took place around 4:30 PM near Bhatia Junction in the CSMT area. The identity of the deceased has been established. He is from Kerala. According to police, the unidentified biker hit the pedestrian, causing him to lose balance and fall. The rear wheel of the BEST bus passing by ran over him, leading to his death on the spot. Police are investigating the CCTV camera installed in the area to identify the biker.

The victim’s dead body was taken to St. George Hospital. The BEST bus driver, Dnyandev Jagdale, was questioned and he confirmed that the pedestrian fell due to the collision with the bike, which led to the fatal accident. The bus was traveling from Anushakti Nagar to Colaba at the time of the incident. A case has been registered against the biker, and further investigation is underway.

According to the police, the pedestrian was knocked down by a bike, causing him to fall to the ground, where he was run over by the rear wheel of the BEST bus. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
