Sanatanis Should Keep Stick, Two Swords & Gun in Homes, Says BJP MLA Usha Thakur

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Mhow MLA Usha Thakur has called on followers of Sanatan Dharma to keep ‘a big stick, two swords and a gun’ in their homes to safeguard their families and communities.  “If our gods and goddesses are armed, the Sanatani society should be too,” she argued justifying her call.

The BJP MLA warned of the dangers of complacency stating that ignoring current events would be a ‘grave mistake’ for the Hindu community. Thakur appealed while reacting sharply to a recent remark by Iltija Mufti, daughter of former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mehbooba Mufti, regarding Hindutva. Iltija described Hindutva as a ‘disease’ that distorts Hinduism and promotes violence against minorities, particularly Muslims.

Sharing her views on social media platform X, she accused the BJP of leveraging Hindutva to consolidate its vote bank and alleged that the slogan Jai Shri Ram has shifted from symbolizing Ram Rajya to being chanted during mob lynching.
