Former Indian batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar was spotted at the Gabba in Brisbane, cheering for the tourists as they took on Australia in the decisive third Test of the series. Visuals of the same surfaced on social media on December 14, Saturday as Sara also posted a story of her being in Brisbane.
Sara has been linked with Shubman Gill on a romantic uncle numerous occasions. However, both haven’t commented officially regarding the same. Former Indian pace spearhead Zaheer Khan and Harbhajan Singh were also present at the picturesque stadium. Zaheer notably carried the coveted Border-Gavaskar Trophy along with ex-Aussie great Matthew Hayden before the start of play and placed it on a platform.

India and Australia playing XI:
Australia playing XI: Usman Khawaja, Nathan McSweeney, Marnus Labuschagne, Steven Smith, Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh, Alex Carey(w), Pat Cummins(c), Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, Josh Hazlewood.
India playing XI: Yashasvi Jaiswal, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant(w), Rohit Sharma(c), Ravindra Jadeja, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Akash Deep.
Australian openers Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney survived a testing period from Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj and Akash Deep to reach 28/0 in the 13.2 overs. It was Rohit Sharma, who won the toss and elected to field first in Brisbane, given the overcast conditions and the green surface. Despite favourable conditions, the pace trio failed to extract a wicket.
An early start is scheduled for day two with 98 overs set to be bowled. However, it is likely to be another stop-start day.
