Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): Four people died and over a dozen were injured after a tractor-trolley overturned in Gwalior on Saturday.
The accident occurred when a buffalo suddenly came in front of the vehicle, causing the driver to lose control. The tractor-trolley overturned, trapping several passengers underneath.
Among the deceased were a minor and two women.
The incident is of Saturday night. The vehicle, was carrying 31 members of the Sahariya tribal community, who were returning from Paikho forest after collecting medicinal roots.
Police and ambulances quickly responded, transporting the injured to JAH Trauma Center. District Collector Ruchika Chauhan visited the hospital to oversee medical arrangements and ensure proper treatment for the injured.
Senior police officials, including the SP and DSP, inspected the site, and the bodies of the deceased were sent to the morgue. The tragic accident has left the community in mourning.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the tragic accident. Officials are examining whether negligence, poor road conditions, or mechanical failure contributed to the mishap.
