Sometimes you crave your favourite chaat item so much that you can’t wait to have it from the nearest stall. Recently, a woman dressed up as ‘Kali Mata’ stood by a street food counter to enjoy a bowl of the much-loved chaat ‘Pani Puri’. You may call it ‘puchka’ as locals do, or as most foodies refer to it as ‘Pani Puri’, the woman was seen enjoying her bite of the yummy chaat item.

She recorded a video of her enjoy Pani Puri on the streets while being dressed in ‘Kali Ma’ look. As the clip appeared to show the revered goddess eating the chaat item, some people took objection over the content and condemned the influencer’s act.
The video was uploaded online by an influencer named Jaya Jerry.
It opened to show a woman resembling goddess Kali standing to next to a chaat stall and enjoying a bowl of Pani Puri from the street vendor.
Netizens react to viral video
While a few internet users reacted to the reel with “Jai Mahakali” chants in the comments section alongside dropping ‘prayer’ and ‘heart’ emojis, many netizens considered the content inappropriate for showing goddess eating Pani Puri.
They demanded the influencer to delete the video.
“Why are you making fun of God…please delete the post”, one commented. “Stop doing all this. What do you think? Have some shame”, another wrote.
However, some also shared positive reactions to the viral video. “What’s the matter, mother is also eating golgappas”, one wrote suggesting there was nothing controversial or concerning about the video. “People say that girls like Pani Puri and here Mata Rani also likes it”, another netizen added.
