Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla Enforces Strict Protest Rules Following Ruckus At Parliament

Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has cracked the whip on India’s honourable parliamentarians and issued strict instructions to ensure that no MP is allowed to hold protests at any of the gates of Parliament House.

The instructions came after chaos and ruckus unfolded earlier on Thursday between the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and Opposition MPs at the Makar Dwar of the Parliament House. Om Birla has also issued instructions to all MPs not to block the passage or hold protests at any of the entry gates to Parliament.
