A video of a transgender not begging but displaying her public speaking and acting skills on a Mumbai Local train coach is going viral on the internet. It records a trans woman dressed in a graceful saree, welcoming people onboard. She recreates the actions performed by an air hostess during a fight journey.
In the video, the trans woman identified as Devi Waghela is seen welcoming people on a railway coach in a style reminding people of air hostesses. Devi is seen performing the ‘Namaste’ gesture to welcome people on the train.
Similar to the announcements and demonstrations made by the air hostesses, the video captures Devi saying, “Namashkar, rail mein apka swagat hai (Hello, welcome to railways)”.

Her performance instantly draws the attention of passengers, making them shoot her on camera. She joyously reacts to people filming her and says, “Oh, acha video bana rahe ho? Ye video bhejna ha mereko (Are you recording a video? Send it to me)”.
In her rail-hostess performance, the saree-clad trans woman then grabs the attention of passengers by saying, “Please unfasten your seatbelts because now our train is set to departure for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (translated from Hindi)”. These words win her praise and thunderous applause.
