Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Panchayati Niranjani Akhara’s Acharya Mahamandleshwar Swami Kailashanand Giri is touring India and abroad to invite dignitaries and people for the upcoming Mahakumbh at Prayagraj.
On Thursday, he was in Madhya Pradesh to invite Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and Mahakal. Free Press caught him soon after he extended an invitation to Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlingam.
According to him, the Prayagraj Kumbh will propagate a message of Indian spiritualism across the world. He was also of the opinion that governments should let akharas to continue make Kumbh-related arrangements.

Q: What is the purpose of your visit?
A: We invited CM Mohan Yadav to the Prayagraj Kumbh. Invitations were also extended to minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and Maharani Gayatri Raje Puar of Dewas.
Then we came to Mahadev to invite Mahakal Bhagwan and prayed to him that the Kumbh should be completed without any obstacles. I have been going around the world for the last four months and inviting people. I toured Sri Lanka, Japan, Canada, Mauritius, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Germany, France, etc, and invited their heads of state, heads of government, kings, rulers, administrators and diplomats. I was on a tour in Maharashtra, Bihar, Jharkhand and MP for the last four days to invite people.
Q: What message is the 45-day Kumbh going to deliver to the world?
A: It is a historic, unforgettable and indescribable Kumbh. People of the world are delighted and are eager to come to Kumbh. Therefore, through this Kumbh, the message of Indianness and intimacy of Sanatanis is going to reach the whole world, which I think will take India towards Vishwa Guru, Ram Rajya and Swarajya. The message of re-establishment of Sanatan Dharma is also going to be expressed.
Q: How much preparation is there at the level of government and people?
A: We have been watching the tradition of Kumbh for the last 35 years, but for the first time it is being seen that the UP government and the Government of India are so active. CM Yogi is constantly visiting the Kumbh area. It is a complete Kumbh and will come in our life after 144 years. Then we don’t know in which Yoni we will be.
Q: Should special authority be formed at Union level for the management of Kumbh?
A: The leadership of Kumbh is done by the Akhara Parishad, the management of Kumbh should remain in its hands only. The government itself makes all the arrangements, while the Akhara Parishad manages the Kumbh in collaboration with the administration. Only the Akhara can make arrangements for bathing, Mahamandaleshwar, Mandaleshwars, Shrimahants, Mahants, etc. This tradition should be allowed to continue while the rest of the arrangements should remain in the hands of the government.
