MP Weather Updates: Temperature To Fall By 3-5 Degree Celsius After 24 Hours; State To Shiver On New Year Day

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Madhya Pradesh is likely to experience biting cold in next couple of days with temperature falling by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius, according to meteorological department. In last 24 hours, rainfall was recorded at isolated places in Indore, Ujjain, Chambal division and at many places in Bhopal, Narmadaapuram, Sagar division.

Rain occurred in Rewa, Jabalpur, Shahdol division. Alert has been issued for moderate fog at isolated places in Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopurkalan district.

Shallow to moderate fog is likely to occur at isolated places in Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Singrauli, Sidhi, Rewa, Mauganj, Satna, Panna, Damoh, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, Maihar district in next 24 hours.

On Sunday, Bhopal recorded maximum temperature of 22.4 degrees Celsius with one-degree drop while its night temperature was 16.8 degrees Celsius with one-degree drop. Indore recorded drop of 4 degrees in day temperature that settled at 21.4 degrees Celsius. It’s minimum temperature was 15.4 degrees Celsius after drop of 2.5 degrees.

Dhar recorded 6-degree drop in day temperature. Raisen recorded drop of 4 degrees Celsius while Shivpuri recorded drop of 4.8 degrees Celsius. Eastern region recorded upsurge in day temperature. Jabalpur registered rise of 4 degrees Celsius in day temperature while there was 3.6-degree rise in Rewa and Umaria. About 3- degree rise was recorded in Sagar and Malajhkhand.
