Conor McGregor Seemingly Confirms His Bout Against Logan Paul At Wankhede Stadium In Mumbai

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) star Conor McGregor expressed his love for India ahead of his mercurial fight against Logan Paul at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai soon. Set to be hosted by the esteemed Ambani family residing in Mumbai, with both fighters set to earn $250m each as the fight will take place during the ‘Visit India’ tourism campaign. With his tweet on December 30, Monday, the 36-year-old has likely confirmed his tour to the sub-continent nation.

One of the most explosive fighters in UFC’s history, McGregor has not been in action since sustaining a leg injury in July 2021 amid the trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier. Although he was slated to return for a fight in June 2023 against Michael Chandler, he withdrew due to a broken pinky toe.

With the Ambani family also associated with the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket team Mumbai Indians, the highly affluent family sees this as an another milestone moment for sports in India.

Conor McGregor has faced plenty of off-ring troubles of late:

McGregor, the Irishman, will be keen to turn the tide after he seemingly confirms his visit to India. The Irishman’s most recent off-ring trouble came when a woman won a civil rape case against him after she had accused McGregor of sexually assaulting her in a hotel in Dublin in December 2018.

However, the veteran fighter vowed to appeal against the same.
