MPPSC Creating Own Data Base Of Subject Experts

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has taken a new initiative regarding examination and confidentiality arrangements to prevent irregularities in question papers and improve the evaluation process.

To achieve this, they have decided to seek assistance from subject matter experts nationwide. The commission is building a database of experts for setting question papers and evaluating answer sheets. The process of their online registration has begun.

OSD Ravindra Panchbhai said that earlier, the commission relied on the help of other states’ commissions to find subject experts. However, now MPPSC is creating its own database.

This will enable the commission to utilise the services of these experts for examination-related processes. The MPPSC has faced candidates’ dissatisfaction due to irregularities in question papers and poor evaluation in the past.

Several times, the commission was forced to revise examination results, academic calendar and examination schedule which ultimately affects the candidates. To address these issues, subject matter experts from across the country are now being registered. Experts need to provide their mobile numbers on the portal, after which they will receive an OTP. Using the OTP, they must fill in their details on the portal and a time frame of 15 to 20 days has been given for registration.
