Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025: Vaastav Foundation Highlights Atul Subhash Suicide Case, Demands Justice For Men

Navi Mumbai and Mumbai based Vaastav Foundation (vaastav.org) an NGO fighting for the rights of men in the society  will be highlighting the death of Atul Subhash at the Tata Mumbai Marathon. The group is participating in Tata Mumbai Marathon – 2025 to  held on Sunday 19th Jan, with theme “Atul  Subhash Suicide Case”

The group has been creating awareness about injustice against  men since 2014. “Taking advantage of the biased women’s laws prevalent in our country like 498A, DV act, Child Custody etc. Men are being harassed by women by filing false cases against men. The Supreme Court has also drawn attention to this issue, from time to time about the misuse of this Act. Also, the misuse of this law has been shown by stinging by the reputed TV channels,” said navi mumbai coordinator of the foundation Shyam Kadam.

The group’s contention is the lack of provision for strict punishment for women who blackmail men by misusing existing laws. The courts, police and other administrative systems are alleged by the organisation to be  working under the pressure of the Women’s Commission and thereby doing injustice to men.

“Society by and large  is still not aware of the injustice done by women who put men out of their lives by filing false cases. To create this awareness and for the demand, every year Vaastav members participate in Marathons with some eye-catching theme to gather attention of society. This year we are taking up the case of Atul Subash,” said the coordinator.

The members of the foundation has stated of conducting a symbolic Tiradi / Last rights of Late Atul Subhash during Marathon (#JusticeForAtulSubhash).

The main demands are going to be, Men’s Commission should also be established on the lines of the Women’s Commission by the government to help men distress due to fake cases by women and who are in the verge of suicide.
