Shahjahanpur (Uttar Pradesh), January 25: In a shocking incident, a female teacher and her husband were brutally thrashed outside the school in Uttar Pradesh’s Shahjahanpur. The shocking incident was caught on camera and the video of the incident is doing rounds on social media. It can be seen in the video that the woman and her husband are being beaten with belt in the middle of the road in broad daylight.
The incident reportedly occurred in Ladhouli village which falls under the Siddhauli Police Station area of Shahjahanpur. The assault occurred when the primary school principal, Sumeet Pathak, along with his associates, attacked the teacher and her husband.

The incident allegedly occurred when the husband of the teacher was dropping his wife at the school. The teacher has reportedly filed a case of molestation against the principal in the past. It is being said that the reason behind the assault is the molestation case, which is said to be fake.
The police arrived at the spot after receiving information about the incident and took the people involved in the altercation into their custody. They have initiated an investigation into the matter and have assured of action after the investigation is completed.

Police Statement
Upon investigating the matter, it was found that Mrs. Sakshi Kapoor, a government teacher from Ladhouli village in the Siddhauli police station area, had filed an FIR (No. 584/2024) under sections 7478/79 BNS against Principal Sumeet Pathak of the Ladhouli Primary School, Siddhauli, Shahjahanpur district, at the Siddhauli police station.
During the course of the investigation and departmental inquiry, other staff members of the primary school, including assistant teachers, education assistants, cooks, etc., were questioned. However, none of them corroborated the incident. It was found that prior to the appointment of the principal, Mrs. Sakshi Kapoor had been performing the responsibilities of acting principal. When the principal started enforcing structured schedules for government duties and academic work, her autonomy was curbed, which led to her behaviour becoming problematic. To assert her independence, she allegedly filed a baseless, fabricated and false case against the principal.
In response, Mrs. Sakshi Kapoor and her husband, Vinay Chawla, reportedly began maligning the character and conduct of other staff members, including assistant teachers, education assistants and cooks. To uncover the truth, Shridhar Mishra, an education assistant working at the school, questioned Vinay Chawla about the matter. This led to a heated argument and physical altercation between the two parties.
Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene. Despite attempts to pacify both sides, their anger escalated further. To prevent any cognizable offense from occurring, both parties were charged under sections 470/426/435 BNSS and presented before the Hon’ble Court on January 24, 2025.
The Block Education Officer of the concerned department is conducting an inquiry into the case, and necessary actions will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
