Remo D’Souza Takes Holy Dip At Maha Kumbh Amid Reports Of Death Threats From Pakistan (VIDEO)

Days after reports of alleged threats from Pakistan, choreographer Remo D’Souza visited the Maha Kumbh 2025 along with his wife Lizelle D’Souza. He shared a video of himself taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj and seek blessings.

Remo took to his Instagram on Saturday to share a video of himself reaching Prayagraj and attending the Maha Kumbh wearing a black attire. He covered his face with a black cloth as he walked amidst the lakhs of devotees at the Maha Kumbh. He then took a boat ride to the middle of the river, and was seen meditating on the ferry ride.

He also took a dip in the holy waters of the Maha Kumbh and sought blessings of Swami Kailashanand Giri Maharaj.

Remo’s visit to the Maha Kumbh comes days after he allegedly received a threatening e-mail that was traced back to Pakistan. “We are watching your recent actions closely. We believe it is necessary to bring a sensitive matter to your attention. This is not a public stunt or an attempt to harass you. We request that you take this message seriously and maintain confidentiality,” a part of the threatening e-mail read.

The sender identified himself as ‘Vishnu’ in the e-mail and used the e-mail address ‘Don99284’.

Not just Remo, but reportedly, comedian Kapil Sharma, actor Rajpal Yadav, and comedian Sugandha Mishra, also received the threatening mails.

The sender also reportedly gave the celebs an ultimatum of 8 hours and warned that if his demands were not met within the stipulated time, there will be “dangerous consequences”.

However, Remo’s wife Lizelle later clarified that the choreographer did not receive any threat mail from Pakistan, but instead, it was a case of spam mails, and they also contacted the cyber cell regarding the same.

“I don’t know why it’s linked to this (death threats). Maybe the media has misinterpreted. It may be for someone else, and they must have clubbed things with others,” she said.
