British rock band Coldplay’s lead vocalist Chris Martin, who wrapped up the final leg of his India Tour 2025 on January 26 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, arrived in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh to attend the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 with his girlfriend, actress Dakota Johnson.
In videos circulating on social media, Chris was seen sitting in a car with Dakota. The singer wore a blue full-sleeved sweatshirt, while Dakota opted for an off-white shirt. Chris appeared excited as he arrived in the holy city, posing for the paparazzi and making goofy faces, while Dakota sat beside him, beaming with a smile.

Chris greeted the audience by speaking in Gujarati, stating, “Tame logo aaje badha sundar laago cho. Hu tamare shahar ma aavyo chu. Kem cho Ahmedabad?” (You all look very beautiful today. I am in your city. How are you, Ahmedabad?).
After the concert in Ahmedabad, the band thanked fans for their love. “Thank you Ahmedabad, thank you India. We’ll never forget these two weeks. Your love and kindness will stay with us forever (sic),” Coldplay said on X.

Chris Martin also paid tribute to India during the Ahmedabad concert on Sunday by singing patriotic tracks like Vande Mataram and Maa Tujhhe Salaam. He ended the performance with a heartfelt Salute to Mother India and extended Republic Day wishes to everyone in the audience.
The band previously performed three shows in Mumbai on January 19 and 21, before completing two shows in Ahmedabad. The final show was live-streamed on Disney+ Hotstar.
