A shocking incident has come to light in Pantnagar, Mumbai, where a young man was brutally beaten to death by a group of 8-9 individuals over a financial dispute. The deceased has been identified as Harsh Lalan. Following the incident, Pantnagar Police arrested eight accused, identified as Santosh Shetty, Shahid Ansari, Puttiswami Gowda, Bhagwan Singh, Sunil Kumar Ruwani, Rajesh Yadav, Sohail Shaikh, and Amar Patil. Further investigation into the case is underway.
According to Pantnagar Police, the incident occurred on January 25 at around 10 PM. As per the complaint filed by Kiran Jayantilal Lalan (60), the victim’s father, Harsh had gone to Headquarter Restaurant and Bar in Ghatkopar East, owned by Santosh Shetty, for some work. During his visit, a financial dispute arose between Harsh and the bar manager, which quickly escalated into a heated argument.
The bar manager, in a fit of rage, began verbally abusing Harsh. Soon after, 8-9 employees, along with the manager, attacked Harsh, brutally assaulting him. Kiran Lalan attempted to intervene but was unable to stop the attackers.
During the attack, Harsh sustained severe head injuries. He was rushed to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. The complainant, Kiran Lalan, also suffered injuries in the assault.
Pantnagar Police are continuing their investigation into the case.
