Actress and former Bigg Boss contestant Rakhi Sawant, who is known for her unfiltered personality and headline-grabbing statements, is currently in news for reports of her third marriage. Yes, you read that right. Rakhi, in one of her latest interviews, claimed that she will marry Pakistani actor and producer Dodi Khan and they will live together in Dubai.
Opening up about the ‘good marriage prospects’ she has received, Rakhi told ETimes, “I have been getting many proposals. When I visited Pakistan, they saw how I was harassed in my previous marriages. I will definitely select one prospect.”
“Indians and Pakistanis can’t do without each other. I love Pakistani people, and I have many fans there,” she added.
Sharing details about her potential suitor, Dodi Khan, who is also a police officer as per reports, Rakhi said, “Shaadi Pakistan me hogi with Islamic rituals. Reception will be in India, and we’ll go to Switzerland or the Netherlands for our honeymoon. We will settle in Dubai.”
On Monday (January 27), Dodi Khan also shared a video on his Instagram account in which he is heard saying, “Rakhi ji ye bataiye baraat leke India aana hai ya Dubai.”
Rakhi posted a few laughing emoticons in the comments section of his post and wrote, “I love you all my friends. I love you all in any condition. You guys are supporting me. I love you all.”
Soon after the news about Rakhi and Dodi Khan’s marriage surfaced a section of social media users felt that it is a ‘publicity stunt’ and that they are not marrying each other.
Rakhi Sawant’s previous marriages
In 2023, Rakhi was constantly in news because of her ugly spat with ex-husband Adil Khan Durrani. The ex-couple was embroiled in heated exchange of accusations and they have filed nearly seven cases on each other.
Rakhi and Adil tied the knot in 2022 in a traditional nikaah ceremony, and she had then converted to Islam and changed her name to Fatima.
However, in the first half of 2023, Rakhi filed for divorce from Adil on the grounds of cheating and domestic violence.
Before that, Rakhi was married to businessman Ritesh Singh. They had also participated in Bigg Boss 14 together. They got separated in 2022.
