Ed Sheeran Set To Perform In Pune Today At Yash Lawns In Bibwewadi

British musician Ed Sheeran is all set to perform at Yash Lawns in Pune’s Bibwewadi today.

This concert is part of his India tour, with performances planned in five cities. This comes after a sold-out show in Mumbai in March 2024, where Sheeran promised fans he would return soon to the country.

The tour begins in Pune on January 30 at Yash Lawns, followed by Hyderabad on February 2 at Ramoji Film City, Chennai on February 5 at YMCA Ground, and Bengaluru on February 8 at NICE Grounds. The 33-year-old will then perform in Shillong on February 12 at JN Stadium before concluding in Delhi-NCR on February 15 at Leisure Valley Ground.

The tour will draw from all of his albums since 2011, starting with “Plus”, “Multiply” (2014), “Divide” (2017), “Equals” (2021), and “Subtract” (2023). The tour also includes a song from 2019’s “No. 6 Collaborations Project” (“Blow”).

Sheeran had first performed in Mumbai in 2015 and returned to the city with another performance in 2017.

The general sale of Ed Sheeran Pune Concert tickets began at 4 PM on December 11.

Meanwhile, noting the success of the Coldplay concerts in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said India has immense possibilities in the concert economy and urged state governments and the private sector to invest in creating the necessary infrastructure and skills for hosting live events.

Addressing the ‘Utkarsh Odisha, Make in Odisha Conclave’ in Bhubaneswar’s Janata Maidan, he said that in the last 10 years, the demand for live events has increased.
