“The district is getting huge industrial investment and the new industries should be given ample facilities by the administration. Hence, the officers should work with a positive approach,” advised the state social justice minister and district guardian minister Sanjay Shirsat to the officers. He was speaking during the review meeting of all the administrative machinery held at the Smart City office on Monday. District collector Dilip Swami, municipal commissioner G Srikanth, ZP CEO Vikas Meena, Smart City CEO Jagdish Miniyar, CP Praveen Pawar, SP Dr. Vijaykumar Rathod, resident deputy district collector Vinod Khirolkar, district planning officer Bharat Wayal, rural development project director Ashok Sirse, and other officers were present.
Shirsat took a review of the works related to the minor minerals, Matoshri Panad Raste Yojana, land measurement in the jurisdiction of the municipal corporation, ZP projects, progress of the work of the ZP building, employment guarantee scheme, Swachh Bharat Mission, health schemes, and police schemes.
Shirsat praised the police department for rescuing a boy from the kidnappers within a few hours in the city that occurred a few days back. He directed that the revenue officers should take help from the police while executing any action against the sand mafia. A Jan-Samvad Yatra will be started in each taluka in the district soon, for which the administration should make proper planning. The officers, if facing any problems while working, should inform the concerned authority about it immediately. The administration should make all the facilities available for working in the offices and fields. The officers should ensure that the public beneficiary works are completed within the stipulated time frame, he directed.
