Indore To Launch Drive Against Illegal Parking Of Buses

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A drive will soon be launched in the city against the illegal parking of passenger buses. In the Time Limit meeting held here on Monday, collector Asheesh Singh directed officials that action should be taken against those who illegally parked passenger buses on the ring road and other places in the city.

This action should be continuous, in the form of a campaign. He also said that as per the instructions of the government, farmer registry should be done as soon as possible because on the basis of this registry farmers availed benefits of various government schemes. He said every Patwari should be given the target of making 10 farmer registries per day.

All SDMs should review the target fulfillment. He said that special attention should be paid to the recovery of revenue dues, including diversion and the recovery should be as per the set target.

All SDMs and additional collectors should also visit their areas and regularly review the progress of the work. IMC commissioner Shivam Verma, district panchayat CEO Siddharth Jain, additional collectors Gaurav Benal, Roshan Rai, Rajendra Raghuvanshi and Nisha Damor along with officers of other related departments were present in the meeting.

Collector Singh directed that the restrictive order issued regarding loudspeakers and DJ should be strictly followed. He also directed to make the Bhikshavriti Mukt Abhiyan (drive against beggars) more effective.

‘Maintain cleanliness in government offices’

IMC commissioner Verma said that there was need to pay special attention to cleanliness in all government offices and premises. He said that all toilets should be clean and added, “Make sure that no garbage is burnt in the open”.
