JAC Board Exam 2025: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has altered the exam dates for Classes 10, 11, and 12 for today because of the Shab-e-barat holiday. According to the JAC’s amended timetable, the postponed exams will be place on March 4.
Students will have three hours and 15 minutes to finish the exam. The JAC Class 12 exams for Compulsory Core Language-ISc and ICom Hindi ‘A’ and English ‘A’, Music, and IA have been rescheduled. The exam will be conducted from 2 to 5:15 p.m.
The JAC Class 10 exams for Kharia, Khortha, Kurmali, Nagpuri, and Panch Pargania have been rescheduled for 9:35 a.m.-1 p.m.
According to the JAC passing marks and grading system, children must get a minimum of 33% in each subject, including theory and practical tests, to be eligible for each subject in the Class 10th and 12th boards.
Students must achieve at least 26 marks out of 80 marks on theory-based papers in Class 12, whereas a minimum of 23 points is needed for 70-mark theoretical papers.
JAC Board Exams 2025: Timings
The JAC Class 10 and 12 exams started on February 11. JAC Class 10 examinations take place in the morning shift from 9:45 p.m. to 1 p.m., while JAC Class 12 exams are conducted in the afternoon shift from 2 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.
The JAC Class 12 test is set for February 11-March 2. The practical exams will take place from March 4 to 20. Applicants are recommended to bring their school ID and admit cards to the exam centre for verification.
“Annual Secondary and Intermediate Examination, 2025 is being organized from 11.02.2025. By the notification number- 10 / S.A.V. 0-03-02/2024 2510-780 dated 13.02.2025 of the Department of Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Official Language, Jharkhand, the holiday has been declared on 14.02.2025 (Friday) on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat under the executive order. In light of the above, all the students related to the Annual Secondary and Intermediate Examination, 2025, their parents, heads of schools/colleges and all concerned officials are informed that the Secondary and Intermediate examination to be held on 14.02.2025 is postponed and rescheduled,” the official notice reads.
