Singer and composer Vishal Dadlani has announced the postponement of his upcoming Pune concert with music partner Sheykhar Ravjiani after suffering a minor accident. Vishal, one half of the celebrated Vishal-Sheykhar duo, took to Instagram to share the news with fans but did not reveal details about the nature of his injury.
“My bad, had a small accident. Will be back in the dance soon, will keep you all posted,” he wrote, reassuring fans of his recovery.
The concert, organised by Just Urbane and originally scheduled for March 2, 2025, will now be rescheduled. The event’s organisers issued an official statement on Instagram confirming the postponement and stating that Vishal is currently undergoing treatment. They also apologised to those who purchased the tickets.
“Important Announcement: Vishal and Sheykhar Music Concert Postponed We regret to inform you that the much-awaited Urbane Shows Music Concert featuring the iconic duo Vishal and Sheykhar, scheduled for 2nd March 2025, has been postponed due to an unfortunate accident involving Vishal Dadlani, who is currently undergoing treatment. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. The concert will be rescheduled, and we’ll share the new date very soon,” they wrote.
“All ticket holders will receive a full refund via our exclusive ticketing partner, District. Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to delivering an unforgettable experience when we return,” they added.
The update has left fans disappointed but hopeful for a new concert date soon. Many well-wishers took to social media, sending Vishal messages for a speedy recovery.
Vishal and Sheykhar have been one of Bollywood’s most influential music duos for over two decades. Known for their versatility, they have delivered chart-topping hits across various genres, from peppy dance numbers like Sheila Ki Jawaani and Bachna Ae Haseeno to soulful melodies such as Zehnaseeb and Tum Hi Ho Bandhu.
Beyond Bollywood, the duo has made a mark in the independent music scene and reality television, with Vishal frequently serving as a judge on singing competition shows.
