The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is hosting its 43rd annual Fruit, Flower, and Vegetable Exhibition at Chhatrapati Sambhajiraje Udyan, ShivajinagarThe event began on Saturday, February 15, and will conclude today, February 16PMC Commissioner Rajendra Bhosale inaugurated the exhibition as part of PMC’s anniversary celebrationsThe exhibition aims to raise awareness about the importance of trees and plants in human lifeIt encourages public participation in horticulture and gardeningThe exhibition is divided into 12 sections with 210 sub-sections, featuring decorative plants, herbs, and floral arrangementsVisitors can also explore seasonal flowers, vegetables, fruits, bonsai displays, and garlandsParticipating organizations include Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune Metro, NDA, CME, Forest Department, and moreUnique attractions include replicas of gardens, floral decorations, wood sculptures, paper crafts, and architectural models of PMC structuresThe exhibition is free for all visitors, open until 8:30 pm Sunday, with stalls selling flowers, fruit tree seedlings, seeds, and gardening materials.A prize distribution ceremony for competition winners will take place at 5 pm on Sunday
