He was addressing the police officers during the review meeting held at the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Police Commissionerate recently. CP Praveen Pawar, DCP Nitin Bagate, Prashant Swami, Sheelwant Nandedkar and other senior officers were present. Kadam reviewed the work of the police commissionerate in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. He took information about the investigation of the cases, prohibitory actions, traffic, cybercrimes, economic crimes, riots, narcotics, Damini Squad and others.

The officers informed that out of the total 5,947 cases, 4,709 have been resolved. Action was taken against 5.62 lakh vehicles and the fines collected from vehicle owners were ₹4.29 crore, they added.

It will help in maintaining peace and harmony. Stern action should be taken to stop the influx of narcotics in the city. The help of teachers, parents and social workers should be taken to keep youth away from addiction. Cases involving Rohingyas and Bangladeshi nationals should be investigated,” Kadam directed.
