The Supreme Court bench of Justices Surya Kant and N Kotishwar Singh is expected to hear YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s petition against the multiple FIRs filed against him in connection with the ‘India’s Got Talent’ controversy tomorrow, 18 February.
According to reports, the YouTuber’s plea in the apex court seeks judicial intervention against these FIRs.
Famous YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, who runs a channel named BeerBiceps, has named the Central Government, as well as the governments of Maharashtra and Assam, as respondents in the petition.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Cyber Cell has summoned Allahbadia to appear before it on February 24.
Ranveer found himself at the center of a storm after making a controversial remark on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Talent. He asked a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?” The comment sparked outrage, leading to multiple FIRs being filed against him for his crass statement.
Reportedly, FIRs have been registered against all members who played roles in all episodes of the show.
After facing backlash, Samay Raina deleted all the episodes of the show from YouTube.
Notably, the Supreme Court on last Friday declined Allahbadia’s request for an urgent hearing on his plea seeking to quash multiple FIRs filed against him.
Ranveer, through his advocate Abhinav Chandrachud, has sought an urgent hearing on the grounds that he was summoned by Assam Police.
