The India Meteorological Department (IMD) indicates that Mumbaikars should prepare for hot and humid weather as the city transitions into the summer season next week. Today, the minimum temperature is expected to be around 24 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature may reach up to 34 degrees Celsius.
The city witnessed the sunrise at 7:06 AM and it is likely to set at 6: 40 PM. The skies are expected to be clear today. The humidity is expected to be around 60 per cent. Yesterday’s minimum temperature in Mumbai was recorded at 25.67 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was recorded at 28. 01 degrees Celsius. Humidity was recorded at 45 per cent in the morning.
Weather forecast for upcoming days
Mumbai is expected to be hot with clear skies. According to the Santacruz observatory’s weekly weather report, from February 17 to 22, the maximum temperature in the city will range between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature will range between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) suggest that this February is not expected to exceed last year’s record temperatures. According to the weather department, the temperature in Mumbai will be above normal according to global standards. Changes in wind patterns may cause temperature fluctuations, but overall, the average temperature for the month is anticipated to be above normal.
