The school administration promptly evacuated all classrooms, ensuring the safe exit of students and staff.
Jabalpur’s St. Gabriel Higher Secondary School was thrown into chaos after the principal received an email warning about a bomb planted inside the school. The threat led to panic among students, staff, and parents.
Initial investigations revealed that the email was sent by a person named Prabhakar, who allegedly sent similar bomb threats to other schools in the city. The police are now investigating the source of the email with the help of the cyber cell to track down the sender.
As soon as news of the bomb threat spread, a large number of anxious parents rushed to the school, concerned for their children’s safety. The atmosphere outside the school became tense as police officials worked to manage the situation.
Meanwhile, specialised teams, including the bomb squad and dog squad, continued their search operation to confirm whether the threat was real or a hoax.
Authorities carefully examined every corner of the school to rule out any potential danger.
Local MLA Ashok Rohani also visited the school to discuss the situation with the school administration, parents, and police officers.
