Nagpur Violence: Police Release Photo Of Mastermind Fahim Khan, Minority Democratic Party Leader; Check FULL Details

Nagpur: The police have identified Minority Democratic Party leader Fahim Khan as the mastermind behind the violence that erupted in Nagpur on Monday evening. According to the second FIR registered at Ganeshpeth police station, Khan incited people and gathered around 500 individuals, leading to chaos and violent clashes.

Mob Gathered Under Fahim Khan’s Leadership

The FIR reportedly states that the Minority Democratic Party (MDP) city president, Fahim Khan, played a key role in mobilising the crowd, according to a TV9 Bharatvarsh report. Fahim had also contested the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections from the Nagpur Lok Sabha Seat, ultimately facing defeat.

During the recent clashes, protesters, armed with axes, stones, sticks and other dangerous weapons, stormed the area, creating panic. Their actions were allegedly aimed at disturbing social harmony and inciting religious tensions.

The violence was triggered after members of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal staged a protest near Gandhi Gate, chanting slogans against Aurangzeb’s tomb and burning a symbolic effigy. In retaliation, a mob gathered under Khan’s leadership, wielding weapons and displaying aggressive behaviour to spread fear.
