MP Shocker! 12-Year-Old Girl Murders 4-Year-Old Boy, Buries Him Under Stones In Gwalior

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A shocking incident of murder was reported in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior, where a 4-year-old child was killed by a 12-year-old girl, as reported by police on Thursday. 

Furthermore, the 12-year-old girl confessed to killing the child on Wednesday.

The matter pertains to Sirol Cosmo Ananda Township of Gwalior and the incident occurred on Tuesday afternoon.

According to information, the victim was identified as Devaraj Vanshkar (4), son of Rajkumar Vanshkar. The young girl reportedly took the boy away on the pretext of picking berries (ber), while he was playing with his siblings on Tuesday afternoon. 

She then strangled him and hit his head with a stone and buried him in a pit made for construction pillars. At last, she covered the body with stones to hide it.

The police have taken the minor girl into custody, but the reason behind the crime is still unknown.

Child came to Gwalior two months ago

The family had moved to Gwalior from Mahulen village in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, two months ago for work. 

Rajkumar and his wife worked as laborers at the Cosmo Ananda Township construction site and lived with their four children near the under-construction DEO office hostel in Gwalior. Devaraj was their second child.

On Tuesday, while his parents were at work, Devaraj was playing with his siblings. Around noon, he went with a neighbour girl to pick berries. When his mother came looking for him, she found him missing. The parents and their co-workers searched for him but found no clues.

Cops clueless about about reasons behind murder

On Wednesday, after receiving the missing complaint, the Sirol police started an investigation. CCTV footage showed Devaraj walking with the 12-year-old girl. When questioned, she initially claimed she had left him nearby. 

However, Devaraj’s younger sister kept insisting that her brother never returned. Upon further questioning, the girl broke down and led the police to an abandoned plot, where they found the child’s body in a pit.

The girl’s family are also laborers. They also had moved to Gwalior from Tikamgarh two months ago. Gwalior SSP Dharmveer Singh confirmed that the girl had been taken into custody and that investigations were ongoing to determine her motive behind the crime.
