JKCET 2025 Registration: The registration period for the JKCET 2025 has been extended by the JKBOPEE to March 29. Applicants pursuing admission to Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programs at Jammu and Kashmir’s government and private engineering institutions must fill out an application form on the official website, jkbopee.gov.in.
JKCET 2025: Key details
1. Exam Date: April 12, 2025
2. The exam will be conducted offline (Pen and Paper) for 3 hours.
4. There will be 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in total.
5. The exam centres are Jammu, Srinagar, Doda, Rajouri, Anantnag, Baramulla, and Leh.
JKCET 2025: Eligibility criteria
According to the official notice, the eligibility criteria are as follows:
1. Completed a 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects, with 45% marks as stated by the AICTE taken together for Open Merit Category candidates, including EWS, and 40% marks for reserved category candidates belonging to SC/ST-i/ST-ii/ RBA/ALC/IB/OBC;
2. Must have a domicile of the UT of J&K or the UT of Ladakh
3. Applicants who have appeared/appeared in qualifying examinations are also allowed to register for and participate in the Entrance Test; however, they must upload/submit the qualifying examination certificate before the deadline, which will be notified separately. Furthermore, such applicants must pass their qualifying examination as per the above eligibility criteria on or before the issue of the Provisional Selection List, otherwise, their candidature will be declared terminated without notice.
JKCET 2025: Application fees
The application fee is Rs 1000. Candidates can be paid through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
