Team India captain and Mumbai Indians opening batter Rohit Sharma wasn’t impressed as his car seemed to have been blocked. In a video surfaced on social media, the veteran cricketer pointed out with a troubled expression on his face, wanting for the other car to move away for him to go through.
Rohit, who recently captained Team India to their second white-ball ICC trophy in less than a year, hasn’t started IPL 2025 on a good note. He registered a duck against the Chennai Super Kings on Mumbai Indians’ opening game and followed it up with 8 against the Gujarat Titans on Saturday in Ahmedabad as the Mumbai Indians have lost both their matches now.

“He just got to pretend that he has got the Indian blues on and not the Mumbai blues” – Michael Vaughan on Rohit Sharma
Meanwhile, former England skipper Michael Vaughan has provided an interesting take on how Rohit can regain his form, given Mumbai Indians’ title hopes hinge massively on his performance. Vaughan stated that the right-handed batter must pretend as if he is in India’s blue jersey. The 50-year-old said while speaking to Cricbuzz:
“He just got to pretend that he has got the Indian blues on and not the Mumbai blues. He is such a good player. For Mumbai to travel the distance this year, he has got to get runs. He has got to get his team off to flyers, his got to get back his confidence, his mojo. I just think Mumbai without Rohit Sharma firing, I don’t think they will make the qualification (playoffs). He is one of those few players who can win a game om his own.”
