Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A music director was killed in a road mishap in the Lasudia area late on Tuesday. He was on his way home from his studio when a truck hit him on the Bypass Road. The police are searching for the errant truck driver.
Lasudia police station in charge Taresh Kumar Soni informed Free Press that the deceased has been identified as Anshul Joshi, 30 year, a resident of Silver Spring on Bypass Road. Anshul was a music director and ran a studio in the Lasudia area.
After closing his studio, he was returning home when a truck hit him from behind and fled the scene. Anshul was spotted injured by the people who informed the police and he was rushed to the hospital but he couldn’t be saved. Anshul hailed from Khargone and was living in the city with his wife for a few years. The police are trying to identify the truck and its driver.
Woman killed, daughter-in-law injured
A 50-year-old woman was killed while her daughter-in-law got injured after a mini truck hit them in the Bherughat area on Tuesday. It is said that they had taken lift from a bike rider and were returning home when the bike was hit by the mini truck. According to the Simrol police station staff, the deceased was identified as BattiBai, a resident of Asrawad Bujurg village.
She along with her daughter-in-law Mamta had gone somewhere and while returning, they had taken lift from a bike rider. When they were reaching Simrol, a mini truck came from the rear side and hit the bike. The bike rider and Mamta fell near the road while BattiBai fell on the road and got critically injured in the accident.
She was taken to the hospital but it was too late. It is said that after the accident, the bike rider and the mini truck driver fled from the spot. Mamta with the help of people called the ambulance but the ambulance reached the spot too late.
