On Thursday, IPL 2025 match took place at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals. KL Rahul is a part of Delhi Capitals, but he hails from Bangalore. Delhi Capitals won and the cricketer recreated a scene from Rishab Shetty starrer Kantara during the match. The video of the same has gone viral on social media, and even the official X handle of Delhi Capitals shared a video in which Rahul is talking about it.

In the video shared by Delhi Capitals, KL Rahul called Kantara his favourite film, and said, “This is a special place for me. That celebration was from one of my favourite movies, Kantara. Kantara, which was released in 2022, had received a fantastic response at the box office. It is a Kannada film, but later, the makers decided to dub and release it in Hindi, and even, the Hindi version had received an amazing response at the box office.
