Pakistani actress Naeema Butt, who played Rubab Mansoor Khan in the hit series Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum starring Hania Aamir and Fahad Mustafa, recently called out her cast members for their fake behaviour. She revealed that she was sidelined by them and criticised the pretense on social media, where everyone appears ‘happy and friendly,’ calling it all fake—just a tactic to gain appreciation for the cast.
In an interview with Gup Shab, Naeema shared that when she first met the cast members of the show, she was mistaken in thinking that the support she received meant her colleagues were genuinely happy with her work and supported her, especially since she hasn’t done many Pakistani dramas
“Bas phir mujhe lagta raha, aur maine khud hi khayali soch liya, ki ‘Yeah, yeh mere bohot ache dost hain.’ Par aisa kuch tha hi nahi. Real mein jab mile toh haan, but jab camera on hota tha tab lagta tha ‘Wow, it’s amazing.’ Par jaise hi camera off hota, aisa lagta ki aapko stage par bhi aane nahi dena chahte, aur aapke saath aisa behave karte,” added the actress.

She stated that there are many details she doesn’t want to get into, but her experience was really bad.
The actress stated that she had learnt her lesson — just because someone posts on social media doesn’t mean they are your friend.
“Basically, they want their appreciation from the audience. Unko dikhana hota hai ki, ‘Bhai, hum kisi se insecure nahi hain. We’re fine, we’re very happy, and we want to support new talent.’ But honestly, everyone is just playing their own game,” concluded Naeema.
Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum also starred Emmad Irfani, Maya Khan, Bushra Ansari, Naeema Butt, and Javed Sheikh in important roles. It was directed by Badar Mehmood and also produced by Fahad Mustafa.
