Civilians Cry for Lost Loved Ones Amid Chaos
The video captured the raw emotions of the survivors moments after the attack. Injured civilians can be seen crying and sobbing as they mourn the loss of their family members and friends in the clip. One of the victims, sitting beside a young boy, recounted the horror. “They shot down a man who was standing beside me,” he said, adding that he feared more gunfire from multiple directions.
Among the grieving were some tourists from Hyderabad as well. A woman, who was accompanied by some children, claimed that her son was killed in the attack. The visuals showed the utter chaos and disbelief as the survivors tried to make sense of the violence they witnessed.
Army Personnel Reassure Panicked Survivors
The video also shows men dressed in Indian Army uniforms arriving at the scene to provide assistance and security. At one point, a survivor, visibly disoriented and traumatised in the clip, starts crying for help, mistaking them for attackers. The soldiers quickly clarified saying, “Ye Indian Army hai, hum yahan apki safety ke liye aaye hain,” to reassure the panicked civilians.
The soldiers’ presence provided some relief to the survivors, many of whom were still in shock and fear.
According to reports, the authorities have launched an investigation into the attack, and a search operation is currently underway to track down the perpetrators.
