Ishanvi Shashank Kshirsagar, a nursery student from C.P. Goenka International School, Ulwe, has made her school proud by achieving outstanding results in the NOF Olympiad for English, Maths, and Science. Despite this being her first time participating, the young learner earned gold medals in all three subjects and went on to secure a spot in the Champion League, where she was awarded the Champion League Excellence Medal.
In an interview with The Free Press Journal, Ishanvi’s parents expressed their feelings of pride, joy, and a sense of accomplishment, alongside deep gratitude for the teachers who have supported their child’s journey.

Preparation strategy
When asked about their preparation strategy, they shared that their primary focus was on creating a positive learning environment. “As parents, we fostered a positive atmosphere by engaging Ishanvi in various learning activities and maintaining regular communication with her teachers to track her progress. We made sure to address any areas where she needed extra support. Additionally, we attended parent-teacher meetings and school events to stay involved in her educational journey,” said Purva Kshirsagar, Ishanvi’s mother.
Learning through play-based activities
Purva also highlighted the importance of promoting a love for learning through play-based activities. “We integrated learning into everyday activities like reading storybooks, playing with blocks, drawing, and solving puzzles,” she explained. To balance learning with rest, the couple kept the study sessions short—around 30-35 minutes—and ensured that there was enough time for Ishanvi to acquire additional skills when necessary.
Looking ahead, both parents remain committed to building a strong foundation for Ishanvi’s future learning and development. They plan to focus on her cognitive, social-emotional, and physical development to ensure she continues to thrive in all aspects of her growth.
