Indore Shocker! Speeding Car Kills Class 8 Boy, Father-Daughter Injured

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): A class 8th boy died while his father and younger sister were injured after a speeding black car struck their two-wheeler under Annapurna police station limits on Friday. The accident occurred at 8:20 am in front of Surabhi Sweets on Annapurna Road when the man was going on a two-wheeler to drop his children at the bus stop for school.

The impact of the accident was so severe that the boy was thrown into the air, sustaining fatal injuries while the father and daughter fell on the road. The car did not stop after the accident and the driver fled at high speed. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed at the spot in which the car was seen hitting the two-wheeler.

According to the police, the deceased was identified as Chirag Sharma (13), a resident of Kranti Kripalani Nagar while his father Hemant Sharma and sister Tanvika Sharma (11), a student of class 7th, were injured.  Chirag’s cousin Geet informed Free Press that Hemant, a priest, had left home on his scooter to drop Chirag and Tanvika at the school bus stop. When they reached the main road, a speeding XUV car hit them.

The father and daughter fell on the road, while Chirag was thrown in the air and landed in front of a parked rickshaw. With the help of passersby, Hemant rushed his son to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The police registered a case against the errant driver of the XUV car and detained him.

Truck crushes woman to death

A 30-year-old woman was crushed to death by a speeding truck in the Banganga area on Friday night. The incident occurred at 8:40 pm on MR 10 Road and the woman was rushed to the hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. According to the police, the deceased was identified as Deepika Bhargav, a resident of Sukhliya. The police registered a case against the errant driver under relevant sections of BNS.
